1-1:30pm – Tour in Mandarin
Ten years ago, Jiangang Su moved to Canada. As he first settled in Burnaby, he was confronted with the quiet depths of this place—taking tranquil walks on the shores of Deer Lake, experiencing a world of timeless waterways co-existing with a city projecting itself into the future. With extensive training in traditional Chinese ink wash and gongbi painting, Su projects his practice towards contemporary calligraphy, where delicate branches and flowing streams emanate breath, movement and the persistence of each moment.
Free to attend, no registration required. For more information, call 604-297-4422 (English only).
